Chocolate Avocado Ice Cream

The rich and creamy avocado ice cream is the best summer treat you will have! So good and so healthy for you!

Ingredients

2 ripe avocados
1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup cocoa powder (add more if you want a richer chocolate flavor)
2 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp lemon juice
Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add the avocados to a blender or use an immersion blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Pour in the milk, honey, vanilla, lemon juice, and salt. Blend until fully combined.
  3. Add the heavy cream and cocoa powder, then blend again until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for 20–30 minutes, or until thick and creamy.
  5. Add your favorite toppings like chocolate chips, berries, whipped cream, nuts, or extra honey, and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a firmer texture, pour the ice cream into a cold bowl that has been sitting in the freezer beforehand, then freeze for another 1–3 hours.
