What makes this recipe healthy?
Did you know that coconuts are one the healthiest foods? Well it is! The coconut is one of the healthiest fats. So loading this date caramel with coconut is perfect for your metabolism and overall health. I even like to add a teaspoon of coconut oil as well!
Dates are a great source of fiber, magnesium, potassium, and iron. This makes it such a great food for everyone but especially pregnant ladies. So eat some date caramel if you are pregnant!
Adding salt is a perfect touch to this caramel and also helps with getting your daily electrolytes. Make sure you are using real salt and not table salt for best benefits and taste! Table salt is made in a lab and not actually very good for you as it is not 100% real salt.
