Chocolate Avocado Ice Cream | Creamy, easy, and so Delicious!
If you are looking for a summer treat that is good for you, look no further. This Chocolate Avocado Ice Cream will knock the socks off of everyone who tries it! It will not leave you feeling bloated or sick after eating. This recipe uses avocados for creaminess and local honey as the sweetener. No guilt if you eat the whole thing yourself ๐ Make sure to save this one because you will your it over and over!
Why do you use avocados?
Avocados are such a good source of healthy fats, potassium, folate, and are high in fiber! They are one of my favorite foods to feed my babies and myself!
But isn’t too much cream and milk bad for you?
Too much of anything can be bad for you. This chocolate avocado ice cream calls for 1 cup of cream and 1 cup of milk. I personally like to use raw milk and cream because it is packed with nutrients. Although pasteurized milk isn’t as nutritious, it is still a healthy fat!
How long does this recipe stay good and how do you store it?
I would say about 1-2 weeks, but it never lasts that long in my house. We like to put it in glass tupperware and make sure it always has a lid to help with crystals. You can also cover it with parchment to help!
